![]() So either there is an issue with the DXF file that Inventor creates (even if Sketch Doctor sees no issues) - and there are "segments making up a line or DXF2Gcode has an issue with the DXF file. ![]() It loaded into DXF2GCode and produced GCode. IPT file that showed no segments AND Sketch Doctor "liked". Did this for any line that was two (or more)segments.įinally got an Inventor. So I eliminated the segments re-drew one line. With one line it was actually TWO segments. I then started "removing lines in the drawing one by one, creating DXF and trying to load. After Inventor saw no problems I created a DXF file. I had a DXF file that refused to load.įirst step was to go into the IPT file, run Autodesk "Sketch Doctor" and look for problems. I decided to get the the bottom of my "challenge. I use Autodesk Inventor (2017) and DXF2GCode to create GCode for my Mach3/CNC/laser I have experienced a few challenges with it and the use of DXF2GCode.
